We all love beautiful Spain – the sun, the beaches, the mountains… But let’s be honest: nature and our streets are increasingly littered with waste. Overflowing bins, illegal dumping, and yes – even entire pieces of furniture abandoned in fields. A real shame, right?

At Casas Palmeras, we believe that selling homes isn’t enough – we also want to give something back to the place where we live and work. That’s why we’re organizing our very first Clean-Up Day in Rojales and Ciudad Quesada on Friday, October 3rd, 2025. And trust us: this is just the beginning!

Why are we doing this?
We live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Spain. Unfortunately, that beauty is increasingly marred by waste. Plastic bags in nature, old mattresses on the roadside, and trash that simply doesn’t belong. With this Clean-Up Day, we aim to remove as much waste as possible – and create awareness. Because the more people join, the cleaner it gets – and hopefully, it makes others think twice before littering.
Of course, we hope the municipality will also provide more options in the future, like extra waste collection points. But we’re taking the first step.

How will it work?
We’ll kick off the day with coffee and breakfast at our office. We’ll explain the plan and assign tasks. The more people sign up, the larger the area we can clean – so feel free to bring neighbors, friends, or colleagues! We’ll end the day with some drinks and snacks. Because hey, a cleaner environment and a bit of fun go hand in hand.

Who can join?
Everyone is welcome! Whether you're a local resident, run a nearby business, or you're an expat looking to give back – the more, the merrier (and the less trash!).
