Casas Palmeras organizes Clean-Up Day: Let’s make Rojales and Ciudad Quesada cleaner – Together!
We all love beautiful Spain, with its sun, beaches, mountains... but let's be honest: nature and streets are increasingly littered with rubbish. Overflowing trash cans, illegal dumping, and yes—even entire pieces of furniture just dumped in a field. Such a shame, isn't it?
At Casas Palmeras, we believe that we should not only sell houses, but also give something back to the place where we live and work. That is why, in collaboration with the municipality of Rojales, we are organizing our very first clean-up day in Rojales and Ciudad Quesada. And believe us: this is just the beginning!
Why are we doing this?
We live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Spain. Unfortunately, however, this image is increasingly marred by litter. Plastic bags in nature, old mattresses by the roadside, and rubbish that simply does not belong in the trash can. With this clean-up day, we not only want to clear up as much litter as possible, but also raise awareness. Because the more people participate, the cleaner it will become—and hopefully people will also think twice before throwing something on the street or in nature. Of course, we hope that the municipality will also offer more options in the future, such as additional landfills. But we are already taking the lead.
How does it work?
We start the day with a cup of coffee and a snack at our office. There, we explain the plan and divide up the tasks. The more people sign up, the larger the area we can tackle—so feel free to bring your neighbors, friends, or colleagues! At the end of the day, we finish with a fun drinks and snacks. Because hey, a cleaner environment and a little fun go hand in hand.
Who can participate?
IEveryone is welcome! Whether you are a local resident, run a business in the area, or are an expat who would like to give something back to the region: the more the merrier (and the less litter).
